I have an urgent need for a bank teller at our Alta View location at Chase Bank. I know that it is far but it is great hours if you need a job while you are in school. The hours would be from 3:15-7:15 and they would have to work every other Saturday (still getting a day off during the week) the hours very on Saturday anywhere from 8:45-3:15 on that Saturday. If they decide to apply then I would like them to send me an email and I could take a closer look at their application - christian.e.jackson@chase.com. I threw a couple extra comments in the job description in red to make the bank requirement a little clearer. The base starts out at 9.50 an hour and can move, with experience, up to 10.50 a lot of the compensation comes from referrals that the tellers make. I see a lot of tellers that make a ton extra when they are really doing their job with referrals. We don't require the teller to sell our products but instead refer the customer back to personal bankers to sell the product.

Qualifications

• High school degree, GED or foreign equivalent required
• Minimum 6 months cash-handling experience is required, unless post-high school degree program is completed or currently being pursued – they actually prefer a year but sometimes consider 6 months depending on your other qualifications.
• Customer service, sales and/or computer experience strongly preferred – They like at least a year of sales experience.
• Ability to work well in a team environment to service customers
• Strong listening and verbal communication skills
• Detail-oriented and organized
• Ability to work Saturdays and some evenings as required
• They don’t like big gaps in work history and like to see that you have at least 14 months of consistent work with one employer.
