Welcome to bring the bacon home, a blog created for the sole purpose of helping members of the winder 19th ward improve their employment status.
This blog will make continual postings of jobs, resources, and articles to aid the readers in any way possible. Anyone that wishes to contribute to the blog can email us at bringthebaconhome@gmail.com.
The area on the right contains the most useful information on the blog. Therefore, there are links to employment websites such as LDS Employment Services, BYU Career Placement, and the University of Utah Career Placement. Below is also a list of suggested books.
The calendar contains a listing of employment events. Each time we add an event to the calendar, a post will also be made reminding people of the event. Anyone else is also able to add events to the calendar, because it is linked to Google Calendar.
Lastly, each post is given a label that categorizes it such as a job posting or an article. The labels are indexed so that readers can view postings from one category. Below contains a history of all posts ordered by month. These two features aide the reader in finding past posts easier.
If it is difficult to visit the blog, you can also subscribe to it and receive emails. This can be done by clicking on the subscribe to link on the bottom of the page.
